graduation

My daughter's college graduation was a momentous event for her, but also for my husband and me.  While parenting is never truly finished, her accomplishment marked the end of our most heartfelt parenting goals.  And as has been true of many of our family's life events, I felt I should mark this occasion with something I made.  I decided to paint a picture of Wake Forest's iconic Wait Chapel for my daughter and for each of her close friends.  I made each a little different - different angles of the chapel, different orientations of the canvas - but this example is representative of the gifts.
