a shawl by any other name

Of all the arts and crafts I have tried over the years, knitting has been my longest and most consistent love.  Socks, sweaters, scarves, shawls - I've tried knitting them all.  The family knows that any road trip will involve a stop in the local yarn shops along the way. Then, there's Ravelry!  This wonderful online community for fiber artists has made it easier than ever to find the right project for that special skein of yarn.  You can see all my knitting and weaving projects under my Ravelry username, DewDropArts.  This shawl, which the designer named Elizabeth, seemed the perfect project to keep for myself
