the mannings

My generous family granted my Christmas wish and gave me a week of weaving lessons at the Mannings with well-known instructor Tom Knisely.  I hoped only to better understand my loom and the principles of weaving.  Little did I know that this class would open the door to an obsession with all things weaving.  It isn't possible to say enough about all I learned from Tom.  He is a generous, kind, accessible teacher - not to mention a talented master weaver.  This towel was the project I selected to learn about overshot, but in the course of the lesson, I learned much, much more about all things weaving.
