cotton anniversary

Two years since my son and daughter-in-law were married?  How could that be??  

When I learned that a traditional 2nd anniversary gift was cotton, it seemed natural that I would weave a table runner.  Green and purple and still favorite colors for this couple - very appropriate for a couple with an anniversary in the same month as St. Patrick's Day.  I chose to adapt a pattern for a bed runner to make it the appropriate width and weight for a table runner.  By accident, my changes brought out an unintended four-leaf clover design.

Woven with 10/2 cotton (tabby) and 5/2 cotton (pattern).
